Shipping Policy – Averley
1. Shipping and Delivery
The products offered in our store are shipped directly to the address provided at checkout, by our international suppliers.
1.1 Free Shipping
Our shipping service, labelled as “Free Shipping”, is charged at a fixed rate of £0.00. The estimated delivery time is between 8 to 11 business days (after dispatch), depending on location. Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed in our system. A tracking number will be provided so the customer can monitor their order status.
Note: In some cases, delivery may take a few extra days due to delays, strikes, holidays, postal service overload or other circumstances beyond our control.
1.2 Taxable or Dutiable Products
The vast majority of orders (approximately 99%) are delivered without additional charges. However, in rare cases, a parcel may be subject to customs duties. In such cases, a notice will be sent to the address provided at checkout, informing the customer that fees apply, and inviting them to collect the parcel from the designated post office.
Recommended procedure:
Go to the indicated post office and collect the parcel.
Averley is not responsible for reimbursing any customs duties or fees.
1.3 International Shipping
All orders placed on our store are considered international, as products are dispatched from our overseas logistics centre. Therefore, they may be subject to import duties, which are fully the customer’s responsibility (see section 1.2).
2. Payment Confirmation
Payment confirmation may take 1 to 3 business days, depending on the payment provider and the customer’s bank.
3. Tracking
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a tracking number via email (and through the contact method provided at checkout). The tracking code is usually sent within a maximum of 8 business days.
Please check the condition of the parcel upon delivery. If the packaging is damaged or shows visible signs of tampering, we recommend refusing the delivery and contacting our customer support immediately.
4. Routing and Re-delivery
Parcels pass through customs in the UK before being forwarded to the final destination.
Delivery is carried out by local postal services. If the recipient is absent or access is restricted, a notice may be left to collect the parcel at the nearest post office.
5. Multi-item Orders
If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped separately, each with its own tracking number.
6. Tracking Information
For international shipments, tracking updates may take between 5 and 20 business days after the code is issued. Any damage during transit is the responsibility of the carrier.
7. Delivery Address
Please ensure your address is entered correctly before placing the order. In case of incorrect or incomplete information, Averley cannot be held responsible. If the parcel is returned to us, the reshipping costs will be charged to the customer.
8. Potential Customs Fees
As this is an import service, all products may be subject to customs procedures or duties.
Averley does not cover any taxes, extra charges or fees imposed by local authorities.
